About Burberry Fitness Mobile Personal Training
I have always lived an active lifestyle and enjoy all types of sport and the conditioning that accompanies them. I am hugely passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and the mental and physical benefits that come from it. Being a home personal trainer gives me the opportunity to share this passion with you.
I first started lifting weights in 1999 at the age of 15 and I have spent a large portion of my life in gyms ever since. What first began as a means of improving rugby performance soon became a structured part of my life that gave me confidence, mental strength and motivation.
The majority of my professional career has been in event catering which has notoriously bad hours. I understand the issues of trying to find a work life balance where fitness can take a back seat to family life and socialising. I am afraid this only gets harder with age as strength and flexibility diminishes and recovery times lengthen. These factors often become a barrier that is understandably hard to get past.
As I turned 40 years old I took a long, hard look at myself. It was time to make a change and do something that I was truly invested in. I became a personal trainer as I want to help others make a positive change in their own life. This can be as simple as loosing a bit of weight and feeling more comfortable by the pool on holiday up to taking on a serious endurance challenge such as a road cycling sportif, something I have recently got into. I know the barriers and I know how to break them down.
