I offer mobile personal training for all abilities, ages and fitness levels in and around Edinburgh. Either in the comfort of your own home, garden or in a public outdoor space. All equipment will be provided.

Pairs Training

Home pairs personal training is the great way to get motivated and to stay accountable. If you have a friend or partner who you want to train with or are slightly nervous to train alone, or need a more financially manageable option then this is perfect for you.  

It doesn’t matter if your fitness levels are different. I will develop personalised training plans around your  individual goals and sessions will be adapted to make sure you are both getting an amazing workout

I offer this service for all abilities and fitness levels in and around Edinburgh. Either in the comfort of your own home, garden or in a public outdoor space. All equipment will be provided.

There is clear evidence to suggest there is no “one size fits all” approach to exercise. Following the gym program of others will likely elicit highly variable responses that will not offer benefit to you.  Burberry Fitness uses fully structured workout programmes that apply science-based principles to accelerate your progress.  I personalise your exercise to your specific objectives, exercise experience, fitness level, and preferences.  Importantly, I continually look to re-shape your programmes according to your progress and feedback .  

Target driven

The design of your fitness programme is informed primarily by your objectives. Your goals may include weight loss, muscle toning and development, strength or flexibility improvement, rehabilitation, or enhancing sport performance. Once identified, I design structured, evidence-based gym programmes that reflect your specific objectives and accelerate attainment of your goals. If your objectives change through the course of our work together, I will always redesign your gym programmes to reflect your revised goals. 

Specific

Your fitness level and exercise experience is an important consideration when designing safe and effective gym programmes. Prior to designing your fitness program, I will assess your exercise experience and fitness level to determine an appropriate starting point. As your exercise experience grows and your technique develops, I will expand your exercise variety and apply new methods to continually look to progress and challenge you within safe and appropriate limits. 

Structured

To make your workouts effective and time efficient, I will formally structure all of your exercise programmes. Your programmes are structured for not only each workout, but planned over each week with embedded progress.  Each variable within your programme is clearly outlined so you know exactly what we’ll perform in every workout and what to do when exercising alone.  Your programmes are written with simplicity and clarity and I will educate you on each element to ensure you understand all elements of your gym programme design.  

Personalised

Many people with body composition goals struggle to generate results because they fail to modify their exercise programme and manipulate important variables within. The body accommodates to exercise and applied stimulus very quickly and frequent change is often required to ensure progress. I will make appropriate and timely changes to your gym programme according to how you respond.  I use a systematic approach to varying your exercise to prevent plateauing or regression. Periodically changing your exercises and variables will not only ensure progression, it also functions to refresh your motivation, enjoyment for exercise, and expand your knowledge of new exercises and methods. 

Recorded

A great challenge in exercise is ensuring safe and appropriate progression. Without exercise progression, successful body transformation is simply unattainable.  To ensure your progression I will take detailed digital records of every workout including recording your sets, repetitions, resistance, rest, as well as relevant notes about your performance, set-up, and exercise technique. Following completion of each workout, I will review your workout performance, comparing your records from prior gym sessions to objectively evaluate your progress, and accompany this evaluation with appropriate discussion of your performance and mutual feedback.  

Progressive

With your workout progress assessed every session, I will also formally evaluate your body progress through objective measurements. Body measurements and fitness and flexibility tests will be used to set a starting baseline and note any improvements.  I compliment these measurements by taking body transformation photos to develop a complete profile of your body composition change. I will complete body composition measurements and fitness tests prior to starting the programme and every four weeks to objectively assess your progress and you will receive a detailed report outlining specific changes to your physique and performance for each review period.
